Commission FAQ

Here you can find information on how to commission a work from me.

What kind of projects can I commission?

I translate and edit Japanese manga and doujin into English. These can be adult themed or not.

Are there any content limitations?

I'll translate anything that's not extremely violent, like guro for example. Other than that it doesn't matter.

How much does it cost?

I can't say really, as it depends on the size of the project. Not only the amount of text to be translated, but also the amount of editing to be done.

Whatever the amount, I ask for at least half up front if this is your first time commissioning something from me.

What all gets translated?

By default I translate all spoken text and necessary sound effects. The other SFX, which equates to little more than general background noise, I leave out unless you specifically request otherwise. Doing this however will increase the price.

So how do I commission something?

First, you need to email me at eropunchtranslations@gmail.com with a filesharing link of the work you would like translated along with any particulars to how you want it done(like font and SFX for example).

Once I have gone over it, I will send you a quote and an email address where you can send at least half the amount through paypal, upon confirmation of which I will begin the translation. After an estimated 2-3 days per chapter I'll email you a filesharing link where you can download the finished work.

What if I have a question not addressed in this FAQ?

You can email me at eropunchtranslations@gmail.com anytime and I will try to respond as promptly as possible.
